(photo) so green, so cute

Shot at Neemrana with a beginner’s Canon. On a cloudy day. Love it so much I have it up in a pretty blue and white mother-of-pearl frame on the wall just outside our bedroom.

The model’s wearing

a green checked Tommy Hilfiger shirt I bought on a whirlwind work trip in Chennai

black Georgio Armani frames bought from a too-posh shop in Khan Market, of which one of his Professors is a patron. A discovery made thanks to the chatty shop guy. After the discovery, he’s given the shop a wide berth, because *nervously* “I don’t want to run into any professor, okay? He’s going to hate me if he finds out we share shops.” An argument I do not get OR buy, but whatves.

dirty blue Levis, frayed and mangled at the bottom edges because he likes his to scrape the ground. Why? I do not know.

“We tilt our heads back and open wide. The snow drifts into our zombie mouths crawling with grease and curses and tobacco flakes and cavities and boyfriend/girlfriend juice, the stain of lies. For one moment we are not failed tests and broken condoms and cheating on essays; we are crayons and lunch boxes and swinging so high our sneakers punch holes in the clouds. For one breath everything feels better.”
